Chicken & apple balls

Ingredients

  • 2 TABLESPOONS OLIVE OIL
  • 1 ONION, FINELY CHOPPED
  • 1 GRANNY SMITH APPLE, GRATED
  • 2 DOUX FITLIFE CHICKEN BREASTS
  • ½ TABLESPOON FRESH PARSLEY
  • 1 TABLESPOON FRESH THYME
  • 50G WHITE BREADCRUMBS
  • 1 TABLESPOON SALT
  • 1 TABLESPOON PEPPER, GROUND
  • 50G FLOUR

Doux Fitlife Whole Chicken

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a pan and sauté half the onion for about 3 minutes
  2. Peel the apple and then grate
  3. Using your hands, squeeze out a little excess liquid from the grated apple
  4. Cook the DOUX FITLIFE chicken
  5. Mix the apple with the chicken and remaining raw onion, herbs, DOUX FITLIFE chicken stock and breadcrumbs and roughly chop in a food processor for a few seconds (season with a little salt and pepper)
  6. With your hands, form into about 20 little balls, roll in flour and fry in shallow vegetable oil for about 5 minutes until lightly golden and cooked through.
